The Damned er et britisk rockeband, kjent for å ha gitt ut en av de første punkesinglene i Storbritannia med «New Rose» i oktober 1976. Albumet singelen var hentet fra, Damned Damned Damned (1977) var produsert av Nick Lowe.[1] De beveget seg etter hvert mot genren gothrock.[2]
