Ruth First (4 Mei 1925 – 17 Agustus 1982) adalah seorang cendekiawan dan penggiat anti-apartheid asal Afrika Selatan kelahiran Johannesburg. Ia tewas oleh sebuah bom parsel yang ditujukan khusus kepadanya di Mozambik, dimana ia bekerja di pengasingan dari Afrika Selatan.
