Emil Heinrich du Bois-Reymond (7 November 1818 – 26 September 1896) adalah dokter dan fisiolog Jerman, penemu bersama saraf potensi aksi, dan pengembang eksperimental elektrofisiologi. Du Bois-Reymond lahir di Berlin dan menghabiskan masa kerjanya di sana. Salah satu adik laki-lakinya adalah ahli matematika Paul du Bois-Reymond (1831–1889). Ayahnya berasal dari Neuchâtel, dan ibunya adalah orang Berlin asal Huguenot.[1][2]
