A Hughes-érem egyike a Royal Society 10 érmének. David Hughes, a mikrofon felfedezőjének tiszteletére neveztek el. A kitüntetést az kaphatja, aki egy eredeti felfedezést tesz a fizikai tudomány, ezen belül pedig az elektromosság és a mágnesség területén. Ezüstből készül és 1902 óta évente osztják ki.
