Lord President of the Council on brittiläinen hallitusvirka, neljänneksi ylin kruununministereistä (Great Officers of State). Lord President of the Council johtaa Privy Councilia. Nykyaikana arvonimen haltija on aina parlamentin jäsen ja hallituksessa. Asema on yleensä annettu hallituksen nuoremmalle jäsenelle. Pitkään Lord President of the Council oli alahuoneen poliittinen johtaja. Vuodesta 2003 asema yhdistettiin ylähuoneen johtajan (Leader of the House of Lords) toimeen.

1800-luvulla arvonimen haltija oli yleensä opetustoimesta vastaava hallituksen jäsen. Toisen maailmansodan aikana Lord President johti Lord President's Committee'ta, joka vastasi sotataloudesta.
