Girote
Village and union council in Punjab Province, Pakistan
32°5′6″N 72°16′29″E / 32.08500°N 72.27472°E / 32.08500; 72.27472Girote (Urdu: گِروٹ), is a village and Union council in Khushab District, Punjab, Pakistan and is region 28 out of 51. It is situated on the western bank of River Jehlum, and 26 kilometres (16 mi) towards south from Khushab. Specifically, it is located at 32°5'6N 72°16'29E. The village has a branch of MCB Bank, a basic health unit, and a post office.[1]
Education
There is a higher secondary school for boys and a high school for girls in Girote. The village also has private schools. The literacy rate is below 30%.[citation needed]
