Edmonton International Raceway is a 14-mile (400 m), paved oval auto racing facility,[1] located outside Wetaskiwin, Alberta, Canada, approximately 50 kilometres (31 mi) south of Edmonton. The track is the first in Alberta to be sanctioned by NASCAR,[2] and hosts races in the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series. It hosted its first NASCAR Pinty's Series race in 2014.[3] On July 26 & 27, 2024 Edmonton International Raceway will host a newly branded NASCAR Canada Series Event, the only NASCAR Event in Alberta, Canada.
