2024 English local elections
The 2024 Ipswich Borough Council election took place on 2 May 2024 to elect members of Ipswich Borough Council in Suffolk, England.[2] This was on the same day as other local elections.
18 seats were up for elections, 16 seats for councillors elected in 2021 and two by-elections
The Labour Party increased their majority on the council, as they already held 23 from the 2022 and 2023 elections and 25 are needed for a majority
